IMPACT Wellbeing

The IMPACT Wellbeing Programme is a simple, adaptable, accredited programme to help effectively manage stress and improve wellbeing.  IMPACT can be used throughout life, suitable for young children and parents, young people and adults.

IMPACT can be delivered within the workplace, schools, colleges and youth groups, nurture groups, the care sector and in the home. It can be used for:
Personal, social and health education
Enrichment programmes
Managing exam stress
Students with special needs
Behaviour support

 

IMPACT Workplace Wellbeing for adults teaches people simple, effective techniques to help them manage stress and improve wellbeing in the workplace. The techniques are promoted by health services and is suitable for the private and public sector. The programme can be delivered in a one day workshop, or in a series of sessions delivered over a number of weeks. The programme is suitable for those responsible for corporate and staff wellbeing, for individual stress management and team training.

IMPACT Wellbeing for Young People is suitable for those aged 12+ and enables young people, and adults, to learn about the causes and effects of stress and how to manage stress, using simple, effective techniques to help manage stress and improve wellbeing. The techniques are promoted by health services. The programme can be delivered in schools, colleges and youth groups as a one day workshop or over a series of weeks.

IMPACT Wellbeing for the Care Sector is suitable for people involved in giving and receiving care and support. They are taught simple relaxation techniques to help effectively manage stress and improve wellbeing. The IMPACT programme can be used by staff, clients and patients in the home, residential homes, hospitals and hospices.

IMPACT can be used by support groups for carers, stroke rehabilitation, parents, domestic abuse, stress management, pain management and much more.

As with all things PlumEssence, the sessions can be adapted to suit your individual needs.

People are taught simple relaxation techniques with a mindfulness-based approach. They gain an understanding of the causes and effects of stress and develop skills for life.  The IMPACT Wellbeing Programme helps people to:

The simple, adaptable and effective techniques require no equipment other than a chair. Techniques are adapted and used according to personal choice and space available.
