wire member Tracey of PlumEssence Therapies was the WiRE leader for the Stafford group from May 2014 – May 2018 and deputy leader for the Cannock group.  If you are a woman in business looking for networking, help and support, then please contact WiRE HQ to find out about the meetings, which are held monthly.

WiRE is a national membership organisation, widely recognised as a dynamic and positive force in rural areas and as the voice of rural women’s enterprise in the UK. WiRE has members in every part of Britain and aspires to provide business support and networking opportunities to rural women in every region of England, Wales and Scotland.  We offer a package of practical business support which includes access to the WiRE networks across the UK where women in business share expertise and knowledge, build new skills, help boost confidence and support each other to build better businesses.  The WiRE membership is diverse and varied, including businesses that are just starting and others growing and employing people. WiRE businesses offer a multitude of products and services and they operate from the remotest rural locations and the busiest market towns.  WiRE membership is £50 per annum and we welcome all women in business regardless of business type, maturity or location.  Find out more: www.wireuk.org

Testimonials:

“Thank you for the meetings you run.  They have been informative and fun as well as not being aggressive in any way.  I have really enjoyed being part of the WiRE community and particularly part of your meetings.  I think you run them brilliantly.  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak to the other ladies.  Doing so helped my confidence and I think, my speaking skills”  Gayle N, January 2018

“Tracey, BRILLIANT – thank you so much not just for all the great work you do as a WiRE network Leader but most especially supporting women in business, it is so important and you deserve a massive pat on the back!” Fiona Davies, WiRE June 2015

“Tracey took over the joint leadership of the Staffordshire Women in Rural Enterprise (WiRE) network group earlier this year.
Since then, she’s brought energy, commitment and enthusiasm to our group of business ladies, whilst subtly guiding us all in an inclusive and engaged way. I imagine that her approach in her own business life would be just the same.
Tracey’s a pleasure to know and to work alongside and if you’ve not bumped into her in some form or other, do connect with her. She always gives lots of good advice about health and well being that affects us all.”  Carole Renshaw, Sincere Moments, November 2014

Tracey is also a WiRE approved mentor, with the profile available to view here:  http://www.wirechallenge.org/mentors/tracey-nixon/
