Reiki

Reiki is a holistic, non-invasive but powerful complementary therapy using natural energy flow for balancing, rejuvenating and improving overall well-being, the endocrine system and the hormonal system.

Reiki is a healing energy and can be used on the whole body or  be localised to a specific part of the body.  It is stated to stimulate the body’s natural healing ability on a physical and emotional level.

Even after one session, you can develop positive attitudes, release stress and increase energy.  The treatment sessions are incredibly relaxing. The treatment can help you cope with illness by balancing your mind and emotions.

You will remain fully clothed and normally I prefer you to be lying on my treatment couch. However, Reiki can be performed in any position and so perfect for people and all settings, especially your own healthcare setting. I will enter us both into a calm state and then place my hands on or near various parts of the body. My hands will remain in each position depending on the amount of healing required. I do not follow a fixed set of positions, using my intuition to guide movements.  Usui Reiki is practised at PlumEssence Therapies.

As with all treatments, a full consultation will be completed prior to treatment, to ensure Reiki is right for you. I will then discuss with you a treatment plan most suitable for your body, your problems and your concerns.

Testimonials:

“Thank you  …. for helping me with my back and my mental health.  The latest sessions of Reiki have been golden”.  LK, via post, February 2023.

“Brilliant experience today with Tracey, felt completely different to L2 & L1 – felt the energy strong.  Thank you!” Natalie S, July 2021

“Just some of the comments received in a card today:  “I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the extra time you spent with me … I had no idea Reiki would start to bring it all out.  You are a brilliant listener, adviser and therapist, and you are, in my humble opinion, so perfect for the vocation and role of MHFA.   PS, I went out last night. It was the first time in months that I’d been, and no pain or discomfort in my back. When the usual question came “how’s your back? Is it still really bad?” I could say with a big smile ‘it’s really good thanks! I found a miracle worker in Great Haywood!” X x”  LK, September 2019
